Rose Lee (Stugart) Creveling, 52, of Millville, was suddenly called home December 22, 2008, as a result of a car accident. She was born September 21, 1956, a daughter of Grace Keller Stugart of Hughesville and the late Donald Stugart.
She graduated from Hughesville High School. She was employed by US Gypsum of Washingtonville. She was a licensed CDL truck driver, where she drove for TRL as a team driver with her husband Dale “Knights of the Road,” Schiedig Corp .of Montoursville, Fab Tex of Danville and a self-employed seamstress, Stitches by Rose.
Rose loved her family. Family was very important to her and everyone was part of her family. She was a member of the Christian Gospel Fellowship Church in Iola. She enjoyed gardening, baking, camping and sewing.
Rose was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Doyle H. Creveling Sr.; brothers-in-law, Donald Robbins and Doyle Jr.; and a sister-in-law, Jane.
Rose is survived by her husband Dale Creveling, whom she married on June 25, 1988; a son, Steven, and Jenn, Stillwater; and four daughters, Sylvia and Brian Pennington, Shickshinny; Celina and Dean Puderbaugh, Unityville; Beverly Hoover, Missouri, and Jennifer Creveling and her companion, Jesse, Jerseytown; 11 grandchildren, Damien Efird, Cristalynn Stugart, Kelsey Pennington, Isaac Stugart, Jacob Puderbaugh, Kyle Pennington, Breana Pennington, Austin Hoover, Kayla Hoover, Avonlea Lewis and Anna Bavaro; and one great-granddaughter, Carmen Lee Pennington McClennan; two brothers, Walter Stugart, Montgomery, and John Stugart, Brookville, Fla.; and three sisters, Donna and Bud Bird, Benton; MaryLou Stugart, Hughesville, and Ruth and Dennis Newman, Hughesville.
Services will be Friday at noon at Christian Gospel Fellowship Church, 2938 State Route 42, Millville, Pa with her pastor, Paul Converse, officiating. Burial will be at Millville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the Christian Gospel Fellowship Church.
